Most vintage OEM front sway bars were calibrated with tires and cornering loads that were radically less capable than today. Ride Tech increases the diameter of the sway bars to minimize body roll through the corners and optimize handling. Incorporated into the polyurethane frame bushings is a Delrin insert to eliminate stiction and allow the sway bar to move freely and improve ride quality. In addition, many stock sway bar designs create bind and poor sway bar geometry when the vehicle is lowered. Ride Tech's beefy end link-style StreetGrip sway bars eliminate that bind, correct the geometry, and reduce body roll. Where applicable, adding a rear sway bar drastically decreases body roll and increases stability. RideTech StreetGrip rear sway bars are a direct bolt-on to your OE suspension or as part of a complete StreetGrip suspension package.

RideTech parallel 4-link systems feature rubber bushings, heavy tubing, laser-cut bracketry, and a panhard bar to position the rear axle side to side in many applications. They avoid interference between the upper bars and the OEM gas tank. These systems are also slightly easier for the casual installer to visualize and install because there are fewer bar mounts to deal with--the frame brackets and axle brackets carry both upper and lower bars. RideTech 1979-93 Mustang bolt-in SLA (Short-Long-Arm) front suspension systems replace the stock McPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm and spindles with S550 Mustang hubs. The factory strut design offers very little camber gain and poor overall geometry. This design greatly improves negative camber gain, which positions the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber and overly stiff spring rates. Systems are available with "pin" or "hub" spindles. Product features: * Tall "pin" spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle. * OR … "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late-model Corvette hubs and brakes. Uses C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking, and reduced maintenance. (Hubs not included). Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE, and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels. * The upper StrongArms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joints have been moved back to allow for additional caster settings to improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are also available for additional caster. Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction. * The lower StrongArms feature a double sheer lower mount for increased strength. RideTech has also dropped the lower shock mount to increase suspension travel and moved the lower ball joint forward to increase caster settings while keeping the wheel centered in the wheel opening. Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction. * HQ Series Shockwaves utilize an impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling. The rebound knob is at the top of the shock for easy underhood access. * Front sway bar reduces body roll and creates room for wider front tires. Includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low friction bushings. * The bolt-on 4-link dramatically improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation does not require significant modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube. Works with mini-tubs. All links are double adjustable with R-joint rod ends, combining the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special street/strip bearing. Upgrades: * Early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry—the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is bad, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The TruTurn System resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically means faster corner speeds. The MuscleBar sway bar helps keep those rear tires hooked up through the corner. * Compressor Sytems: RideTech offers its RidePro E5 air suspension control system as a pre-assembled, all-in-one module as the "AirPOD"; or you can purchase the RidePRO E5 system as a component kit to install how you like.
