Ridetech HQ Series Shocks

Ridetech HQ Series shocks influence your vehicle's handling for better performance. Your shocks are the brains of your suspension, and Ridetech Q-Series monotube shocks out-think your OEM shocks with a wide rebound adjustment range. Ridetech RQ-S Series Shocks

Ridetech offers RQ-S Series shocks for a variety of applications, including many Dodge, Plymouth, Buick, and Cadillac cars and trucks from 1965 and up. They feature a 1.5 in. steel body and monotube design for easy installation and superior performance. With rebound adjustability, they deliver precise tunability, ensuring an unparalleled driving experience and optimal control on road or track. Shock absorbers are without a doubt the brains of your suspension. Nothing influences how your car rides and handles more than its shock absorbers. Their primary function is to control the oscillations of your vehicle's springs, thereby keeping your tires in contact with the road. To best accomplish that objective, Ridetech shocks utilize a monotube design which allows for a larger piston and more precise valving. That superior design takes advantage of better damping and reliability over a conventional twin-tube shock design. Ridetech RQ-S shocks include 24-position rebound adjustability, heavy-duty half-inch shock shafts, and carry best-in-industry factory support. Features and benefits: * Steel construction provides durability * Monotube design provides superior damping control, thanks to larger piston and precise valving * 24-position rebound adjustability allows you to dial in the rebound responsiveness of each corner of your ride * Heavy-duty 1/2 in. shock shafts serve to combat against deflection and bending

Ridetech Ball Joints

By installing a taller set of Ridetech ball joints, you reposition the control arms to dramatically improve the OEM camber curve and give your car a much more stable feel through the corners. Why taller ball joints? OEM muscle car front suspension geometry usually creates positive camber when cornering. This means that the loaded tire leans away from the turn--a huge compromise in cornering performance and feel. Ridetech ball joints help optimize handling with real-world street tires that will see thousands of highway and backroad miles. They are direct replacements for OEM ball joints and are easy to install--no cutting, welding, or fabrication is required, as well as no modifications to the fuel lines, brake lines, or exhaust.

Ridetech Coolride Systems

These Coolride systems have the greatest application coverage and versatility of all of Ridetech's systems. They will raise and lower the vehicle, improve the handling, and offer a terrific ride. On a front system, the shock is usually relocated to the outboard side of the lower control arm. A weld-on bracket mounts the top of the shock to the frame rail. On a rear system, the air spring and shock absorber will normally go in the stock locations. These Coolride systems consist of an air spring, a shock absorber, and all of the necessary mounting bracketry and hardware.
