If you have chosen a Ridetech 4-link system to improve the ride quality, handling, and braking of your classic muscle car, the next purchase should be a Ridetech Ford 9 in. housing and axle package with integrated 4-link and sway bar brackets. These narrowed 4-link axle assemblies allow for the easiest installation of your 4-link system. The 9 in. Ford housings are great foundations for putting torque to the pavement. They feature a webbed center section, internal gussets, thick wall tubes, and billet steel flanges (new-style Big Bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset 1/2 in. and the axle flange is offset 2 1/2 in. The narrowed axle widths satisfy mini-tub applications. Ridetech narrowed housing and axle packages are offered in two axle lengths and available raw or with a black powdercoat finish. Select the proper length and preferred finish for your project. RideTech 1959-64 Chevy air suspension systems are designed specifically for the Chevy "B" Body cars. These kits provide an ultra-low show stance while maintaining excellent ride quality and handling. Choose the air suspension system recommended for your year/model. Some kits may vary depending on your application. RideTech 1959-64 Chevy air suspension system features and notes: * Upper StrongArms (powdercoated black and fully assembled with ball joints, bushing, and cross shafts; ready for installation) * Lower StrongArms (powdercoated black and fully assembled with ball joints, bushing, and cross shafts; ready for installation) * Front HQ Series Shockwaves utilize an impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling (also allows fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling) * Front and rear MuscleBars help reduce body roll and create room for wider tires. PosiLink end links provide immediate engagement between the chassis and control arms. * Rear StrongArms provide added strength to help get the power to the pavement * Rear CoolRide and HQ Series shocks simply bolt in place of the stock springs. Important note: Control system is not included. To complete your air suspension system, a RideTech compressor system is recommended. * RideTech kit 11060298 upper arm and panhard bar utilize R-joint technology to provide smooth operation and reduce roll bind; must be used with stock spindles. RideTech Clutch Z-Bar brackets are available for those running a mechanical clutch with a Ridetech Performance subframe. They are only compatible with mechanical clutches being used with Ridetech 2nd Gen (1970-81) F-Body (Camaro/Firebird) performance subframe. Bracket and hardware are included.
