Ratech Smart Sleeve complete installation kits are all that you need to rebuild the axle in your vehicle intelligently. When you're changing rear-end gears, getting the crush sleeve properly compressed to set the pinion bearing preload has to be done right the first time, so do it with less hassle. Smart Sleeve kits compress more easily with only about half of the ft.-lbs. of regular crush sleeves. And with more usable compression distance and better cycle duty than solid spacer and shim packs, it makes good sense to make Smart Sleeve kits a part of your install. Depending on which kit is best for your application, Ratech Smart Sleeve complete installation kits may include pinion bearings, pinion shims, carrier bearings, carrier shims, a pinion seal and nut, ring gear bolts, a cover gasket, and the ultimate crush sleeve--Smart Sleeve.
