RAM Muscle Car clutch kits are the perfect choice for mildly modified street cars and trucks where driveability is most important. RAM Muscle Car kits are popular for older restoration vehicles as well as late model cars and trucks with basic bolt on engine modifications such as headers and air intakes. These RAM kits offer super smooth clutch engagement and increased holding power with only a slight increase in pedal effort. RAM Billet Steel Flywheels
Cast flywheels are not explosion-proof and can be dangerous when used in high performance applications at higher rpm. RAM billet steel flywheels are recommended as replacements for factory-cast flywheels in high performance and racing vehicles. Made in America and produced in-house, all RAM flywheels are computer balanced within a 1/2 oz., surface ground (which results an optimum mating surface), and are ready to run out of the box. They're better for launching heavier drag race cars and provide better drivability in street vehicles. SFI-approved, RAM billet steel flywheels are CNC-machined from certified materials. Order the model recommended for your year/make and engine application. Technical note: As they spin, heavy flywheels store more energy than lighter ones. Engine and gearing combinations that require more power or inertia to make the car launch without bogging the motor need heavier flywheels. However, heavier flywheels accelerate slower. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch, but accelerate quicker through the gears. When choosing a flywheel, you must consider the car's weight, operating rpm of the engine, and, most importantly, the gearing. Insufficient gearing will cause an engine with too light of a flywheel to "bog" on launch.

RAM Clutch Billet Steel Alignment Tools
RAM billet steel alignment tools are precision-machined for perfect alignment of clutch discs. RAM Premium Replacement Clutch Kits
RAM premium replacement clutch kits are the first choice of professional installers, because each set contains the correct replacement parts to ensure proper fit and operation in your vehicle. Kits include an OEM diaphragm or lever style pressure plate, clutch disc, and a clutch-alignment tool. Some clutch sets will include a throwout bearing. The clutch disc features either a 5- or 6-spring standard hub or helix hub, just like the originals. These clutch sets are great for unmodified street vehicles and restorations. The flywheel must be resurfaced or replaced prior to installation to validate the warranty.
