Rain-X Original Glass Water Repellent treats the glass surface on your vehicle windshield with a super-slick, non-stick invisible barrier that repels rain, sleet, and snow on contact—dramatically improving all-weather visibility, safety and driving comfort. The application of the product is different to a car glass cleaner, you buff the product in on to your vehicles glass in a circular motion and then let it dry. Then buff off with a clean, dry cloth and you will have then created a hydrophobic layer on the glass that helps repel water, bugs, and dirt—even ice and snow. Rain-X Interior Glass Anti-Fog reduces and helps prevent interior fogging—it also removes smoke residue. This product is great for home usage on glass and mirrors, as well as on interior automotive and marine glass. It offers a simple application. Simply apply a small amount of Rain-X Anti-Fog to a clean paper towel or 100 percent cotton cloth, wipe across glass surface to be treated, one section at a time. Do a final wipe with the dry side of the towel to leave a streak-free coating. Re-apply Rain-X product as needed to maintain fog-free condition. If any haze appears due to excess application, sprinkle with water and then wipe with a dry cloth or paper towel until clear.
