Radium Engineering fuel pressure gauges offer high accuracy and are suitable for all fueling applications. They feature an acrylic lens with a silicone filled dial that reads from 0 to 100psi (0 to 6.9 BAR) with +/- 2 percent accuracy. The silicone fluid prevents the needle from vibrating for easy pressure readings (the internal bubble is normal). Radium Engineering PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valves are not simple one-way check valves. Radium's valves have an internal plunger that dynamically meters the appropriate amount of crankcase vent airflow based on current engine load, preventing the "vacuum leak" that a check valve would create at low loads. Also, in the event of a backfire, these PCV valves prevent combustible vapors from igniting in the crankcase. Radium Engineering offers anodized billet 6061 aluminum clamp-style mounting brackets designed for components such as fuel filters, oil catch cans, external fuel pumps, etc. The large inner diameter(s) measure 60mm, which matches a Radium fuel filter and/or Bosch 0 580 254 044 fuel pump(s). Unlike others on the market that use insulating rubber, these clamps transfer thermal energy into the chassis, effectively reducing fuel pump temperatures and extending service life. Radium's fuel cell vent kits permit air to escape as the fuel cell is filled and permit filtered air to enter when fuel is getting consumed, allowing the tank to breath avoiding pressurization during normal operation. Radium Engineering fuel cell vent air filters are the correct replacements for these kits. Typically used with Radium's DSV (Dynamic Safety Vent) valves, they include air filter and adapter fitting. The radiator cap is an essential part of an upgraded cooling system. Radium Engineering radiator caps are engineered to safely improve cooling efficiency by managing the boiling temperature. A higher radiator pressure effectively raises the coolant boiling point, providing an extra safety margin, and preventing air pocket cavitation at the water pump. Each replacement radiator cap is manufactured from stamped stainless steel for durability. They are offered in two common styles: Type-A and Type-B—and all Radium 18-0076-X1X models are electroplated black. The opening and closing of fuel injectors creates pressure pulses in the fuel rail which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. In order to achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure, a Radium Engineering fuel pulse damper (FPD) is often necessary. The FPD's internal diaphragm will absorb oscillating pulses and stabilize fuel pressure. This correction can be measured throughout the RPM range and often help idle surge, especially with high-flow injectors. A fuel pulse damper can also solve erratic lean air/fuel ratio spikes, commonly experienced as "stumbling," that are difficult to tune out. What makes Radium FPDs unique?: Along with having the flexibilty of using common fittings, Radium Engineering FPD's use a vacuum/boost reference port which allows for proper fuel pulse damper performance even at elevated fuel pressures. This becomes essential for boosted systems that use a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Features: The anodized aluminum housing features two selectable threaded male fittings. The 8 AN ORB version seals using a FKM O-ring, while the 3/8 in. NPT variation seals with the tapered pipe threads. * The FPDs can be mounted at any possible angle including upside down. Radium Engineering oil filler caps are anodized billet aluminum designed to fit many General Motors vehicles. These replacement caps will work on both dual and single-tooth oil fill neck types and the 7/8 in.-14 threaded port accepts 10AN ORB adapter fittings to create a custom crankcase venting setup.
