Radium Engineering cooling tank kits feature a rugged 2-piece tank CNC-machined from aluminum and anodized for increased longevity. And because aluminum is a superior thermal conductor material, heat transfer is further improved. The tank functionality remains the same as the OEM cooling system, and the tank's internal design has two chambers with crossover passages at the top and bottom, as well as an internal swirl feature aiding in de-aerating the system. The kits include a specially designed mounting bracket that secures to existing threaded holes and Radium adapter fittings to interface with the factory lines. No permanent vehicle modifications are required. The radiator cap is an essential part of an upgraded cooling system. Radium Engineering radiator caps are engineered to safely improve cooling efficiency by managing the boiling temperature. A higher radiator pressure effectively raises the coolant boiling point, providing an extra safety margin, and preventing air pocket cavitation at the water pump. Each replacement radiator cap is manufactured from stamped stainless steel for durability. They are offered in two common styles: Type-A and Type-B—and all Radium 18-0076-X1X models are electroplated black. Unlike OEM caps, which use natural rubber gaskets, these radiator caps feature premium silicone sealing elements for long-lasting durability. They are available with three different relief springs: 1.1 Bar (16.0 psi), 1.3 Bar (18.9 psi), and 1.5 Bar (21.8 psi). Radium radiator caps are designed for mini size (32mm ID) radiator necks only.
