The vent permits air to escape as the fuel cell is filled and permits filtered air to enter when fuel is getting consumed, allowing the tank to breath to avoid pressurization during normal operation. Radium Engineering fuel cell vent kits include an air filter, 6 ft. (1.8m) of fuel vent hose, and adapter fittings. They are available for standard-fill systems with direct fill or remote fill necks or in a high-flow kit that is typically used for quick-fill systems that commonly use a dry break and dump can. Kits will require the appropriate AN male vent fitting.

Radium Engineering offers fuel surge tanks in a variety of styles—including with two or three fuel pumps, and for gasoline and/or flex fuel. A fuel surge tank (FST) is designed to prevent fuel starvation to the engine on vehicles with inadequate fuel tank baffling. Fuel is supplied to the surge tank by a lift pump, which in most cases is the OEM in-tank fuel pump. The volume of fuel inside the surge tank acts as a buffer to always keep the FST pump(s) supplied with fuel, even if the lift pump starves momentarily. This volume is maintained by the lift pump as well as the fuel returning from the fuel pressure regulator. Excess fuel in the surge tank is returned back to the vehicle's main fuel tank. The surge tank also provides a quick and easy way to upgrade any standard fuel system without opening the stock fuel tank. This is an excellent fueling solution for vehicles installing large demand power upgrades such as forced induction.

Radium Engineering competition-grade fuel cells provide maximum performance and safety for high performance vehicles. RA-Series fuel cells are designed and manufactured to meet top safety requirements set forth by the worldwide safety organizations FiA and SFI. CONSTRUCTION: The heart of the fuel cell is the bladder. This component undergoes thorough testing and carries the critical certifications. Radium RA-series bladders are made from a special polymer that is resistant to ALL fuel types (gasoline, diesel, AV gas, E15, E85, ethanol, methanol, etc). The bladder is housed in a lightweight powdercoated aluminum enclosure that protects from damage and debris. Pre-cut explosion suppressing anti-slosh foam is included, as well as an innovative threaded aluminum nut ring which makes fuel pump installation fast and easy. CERTIFICATIONS: The RA-Series fuel cells have been tested and approved by FIA and SFI. All RA-Series fuel cells are serialized and come with both certifications and associated paperwork.

Radium Engineering remote-mount vented fuel filler valves are offered in several options. Select standard filler or female dry break in the style and diameter needed. Both Radium remote filler types require a 3.03 in. (77mm) hole to be fabricated and feature a vented fuel cap for rollover protection. A gasket, stainless steel hardware, and anodized aluminum nut ring are included, and the components, materials, and seals are compatible with all fuel types (unleaded and leaded gasoline, diesel, AV gas, methanol, ethanol, E15, E85, etc.). Elbow styles include anodized aluminum wrench, standard fillers include tether components and can be upgraded to dry break later, if preferred.

Note: Because the top of the fuel fill tube should not be higher than the location of the air filter, it is commonly used in conjunction with direct fuel cell fill caps only (not remote fillers).

Radium Engineering remote mount fuel filler necks work with Radium quick-fill and standard fill fuel fillers. Offered in two options, straight or with elbow and wrench, both versions have an FKM flapper check valve mechanism for rollover protection and utilize 1.5 in. I.D. hose. An FKM gasket flange seal and stainless steel hardware are also included. Radium's 75-degree elbow remote fill neck is capable of 360-degree rotation and a 1 7/8 in. aluminum wrench is provided for tightening the B-nut and prevent marring. Choose your preferred remote mount fill neck.
