RACEceiver Hardwire Transponder Units

RACEceiver hardware transponder units are lightweight, compact devices that provide a reliable, automatic, and hassle-free lap counting and race timing solution for motorsports. Unlike battery-powered transponder units, the hardwire transponders are attached to each race car by wiring the unit directly to the race cars 12 V DC battery, eliminating the need for charging and providing continuous, maintenance-free operation during a race. The transponder units primary purpose and how it works: Each transponder is assigned a unique identification number to differentiate individual vehicles. As the vehicle passes over the Loop Antenna, the Decoder reads this identification number and determines a crossing time. As the race car crosses a designated timing point on the track, the transponder unit transmits its unique ID to a trackside decoder. The decoder captures the exact time the transponder passed over the loop. The timing data is sent to a computer system, which can then display lap times on scoreboards, providing results to race officials, and/or be used for post-race analysis.

RACEceiver Transponder Charging Units

RACEceiver transponder charging units primary benefit is their convenience and cost-effectiveness by allowing for the reuse of rechargeable transponders across multiple vehicles. The charging units serve to recharge the battery of an individual, rechargeable RACEceiver transponder device that drivers use on their race vehicle for lap timing and scoring. The charging units plug into a standard wall outlet to recharge the race devices' battery. Once charged, the transponder device can be re-mounted onto the vehicle. Notes: This charging unit is made to use with the RACEceiver Individual Transponder device (sold separately). The Transponder simply slides into the charging unit and connects to a standard wall outlet to recharge battery.

RACEceiver Transponder Mounting Pouches

RACEceiver transponder mounting pouches are made from canvas and allow remote mounting of your rechargeable transponder to the frame of your car. Each pouch has steel reinforced eyelets to allow you to zip-tie the case to the underside of the vehicle to ensure the transponder stays in place, even during racing contact. There is a clear plastic window where the indicator lights can be seen. This is the transponder mounting pouch only. Zip-ties not included.

RACEceiver Rechargeable Transponder Units

RACEceiver rechargeable transponder units are lightweight, compact devices designed to be attached to each race vehicle. The unit primarily serves the purpose of lap timing and vehicle identification at a racetrack, allowing a system of loop antennas and a decoder to accurately record each vehicle's crossing times. They also provide a rechargeable power source for the device and often include LED indicators to show the unit's operational status and battery level. Unlike disposable battery versions, the transponder units are designed to be recharged, saving money and hassle for the user. Here's a better understanding of how the transponder unit works: Each transponder is assigned a unique identification number to differentiate individual vehicles. The timing data is sent to a computer system, which can then display lap times on scoreboards, providing results to race officials, or be used for post-race analysis. The transmitters have LED indicators for operational status. A green LED indicates the transmitter is working. A red LED indicates a low battery condition, therefore there is no guesswork involved in determining battery status. During a race, the transmitter is also capable of relaying a low battery status to the Race Management System, informing the system operator of this condition. Note: This is the Individual Westhold Rechargeable Transponder ONLY (individual charger not included). Does not work with MyLaps.

RACEceiver Audible Lap Timers

RACEceiver offers a wide range of affordable products for any budget and solutions for tracks, racing groups and everything in between, including audible lap timers. The audible lap timers by RACEceiver are a small handheld device that allows you to get your lap times in the palm of your hand. With this device, you can see the lap times on an easy-to-view LCD display and hear it audibly by using a separate earpiece (not included). The LCD screen shows lap times as you run with much more precision than handheld stopwatches. See your times on the track and try different driving styles or different lines to get the fastest times. You can also choose to have the LapCeiver ALT tell you if the current lap is faster than the previous laps. Product Overview: * This package includes infrared detector, reverse splitter, case, and USB cable * LapCeiver ALT features an easy-to-read LCD screen display * With this device you'll be able to see your times on the track, and you can try different driving styles or different lines to get the fastest times * Compare your lap times before and after the changes made during practice * Download lap times from LapCeiver to your computer * Times are stored and can be recalled once you are back in the pits * Patent Pending The LapCeiver ALT has 2 modes of operation (Transponder Mode and Infrared Mode): -- Transponder Mode works with a timing and scoring system and the transponder you have in your car. The transponder sends a signal to the timing and scoring system your track is using and a LapCeiver transmitter connected to that system sends the same signal to the LapCeiver ALT. You can enter the serial number of up to 5 transponders into the LapCeiver ALT (one in each of the 5 memory banks, each memory bank can contain up to 500 laps. -- Infrared (IR) Mode works with an IR transmitter that is set up via the track. As the car passes through the beam, the infrared detector, mounted in the car and connected to the LapCeiver ALT, detects the beam. It then sends it to the LapCeiver ALT, activating the time which appears on the screen. In this mode, one memory bank is used at a time.
