These Quarter Master Street series hydraulic throwout bearing kits are designed to be used with OE-style clutches that require the use of a flat bearing face. They start with the highest quality E9310 aircraft steel. The gears are precision-hobbed to AGMA Class B tolerances to produce a true involute tooth form for a high contact ratio. Quarter Master offers floater plates to fit 7.25 in., 2- or 3-disc V-Drive or Pro Series clutches. During inspection, racers and builders examine the friction discs, but often overlook the importance of the pressure plate and floater plates contained within the housing. While these parts don't suffer as high a wear rate as the friction disc, they are still susceptible to wear.
