Pacific Performance Engineering Oil Catch Can Kits

Pacific Performance Engineering offers oil catch can kits for a variety of applications, including many Chevrolet, GMC, and Ram trucks from 2020 and up. During the development of PPE's intercooler and turbo resonator delete tube, it was confirmed that these trucks emit a significant amount of oil and hydrocarbons through the crankcase ventilation system, which are directly routed back into the turbo compressor housing. These contaminants mix with EGR gases, causing harmful sticky carbon buildup in the plastic intake manifold, swirl valves, and intake valves. This leads to reduced performance, poor fuel economy, higher EGTs, cylinder compression loss, increased emissions, and potential damage to engine components. Pacific Performance Engineering Oil Filter Adapters

Pacific Performance Engineering offers oil filter adapters for a variety of applications, including many Chevy and GMC trucks from 2001 and up. The CAT 1R-1807 oil filter was designed to function vertically so it lacks an anti-drain-back valve. When the CAT oil filter is mounted on a Duramax, it is angled horizontally. Without the anti-drain-back valve, dirty oil flows back into the internals every time the engine is shut off. PPE recognized the need for a better filter product made specifically for the Duramax engine. Building on the platform of better performance, PPE increased the quality in every category compared to stock and addressed the shortcomings of the CAT oil filter. If you had installed the CAT adapter, now you can now easily switch back and get superior filtration with the PPE premium high-efficiency oil filter using this OEM adapter replacement. The PPE oil filler adapter works with the brand new "ordnance-style" Special Issue Premium high-efficiency oil filter (114000560) and the classic black Premium high-efficiency oil filter (114000550) for the GM 6.6L Duramax. Pacific Performance Engineering Dry Sump Oil Pans

Pacific Performance Engineering offers dry sump oil pans for a variety of applications, including many Chevrolet and GMC trucks from 2001 and up. In a dry sump, engine oil is stored in a tank outside the engine rather than in the oil pan. There are at least two oil pumps in a dry sump—one pulls oil from the sump and sends it to the tank, and the other pump takes oil from the tank and sends it to lubricate the engine. The minimum amount of oil possible remains in the engine. Dry sumps have advantages over wet sumps. Because a dry sump does not need to have an oil pan big enough to hold the oil under the engine, the main mass of the engine can be placed lower in the vehicle. This helps lower the center of gravity and can also help aerodynamics. The oil capacity of a dry sump can be as big as you want. The tank holding the oil can be placed anywhere on the vehicle. In a wet sump, turning, braking and acceleration can cause the oil to pool on one side of the engine. This sloshing can dip the crankshaft into the oil as it turns or uncover the pump's pick-up tube. Excess oil on the crankshaft can cut horsepower. You may see dyno improvements of as much as 15 hp by switching to a dry sump oil system. Order the model recommended for your vehicle.
