Cracked transmission tailshaft housings are a common problem for GM Allison-equipped 4x4 pickups in off-road and drag racing situations. Pacific Performance Engineering transfer case braces are designed to remedy that problem. Even a normal amount of driveline vibration can cause the housing to fail, resulting in a transmission fluid leak or worse—internal transmission and transfer case damage. These braces help support the overhanging, heavy transfer case by spreading the load up and across the adaptor housing to the center section of the transmission. Pacific Performance transfer case braces utilize two 304 stainless steel 7/8 in. support tubes tied together with a thick 304 stainless steel plate for increased strength and service life. Order the model recommended for your vehicle and transmission application.

A strong steering system begins with the pitman arm. Pacific Performance Engineering race pitman arms replace the weak OEM version with a heavy-duty modification designed to take the abuse of running larger wheels and tires--or from increased horsepower. The factory part is precision-machined and equipped with a pressed-in sleeve that accepts a larger 7/8 in. bolt assembly. Inside the sleeve are two machined chromoly joints kept in place with a snap ring. They are made to withstand high-stress conditions without breaking. Another amazing innovation in diesel performance from Pacific Performance Engineering!
