Pre-heating of oil in dry or wet sump systems is important to ensure good lubrication upon initial start-up. Peterson Fluid Systems offer two types of oil tank heaters. The immersion-style heaters require welding a bung into the tank. They're available in 110/120 V and 220/240 V models, and do a great job of pre-heating your oil. Peterson also carries a wrap-around style that can be glued using high-temperature RTV silicone, affixing the heater to the outside of the tank or pan. Select the oil tank heater that's best for your application.
