They deliver twice the voltage to your spark plugs, increasing horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life. Flame-Thrower Performance distributors for British engines feature rotating cobalt magnets that trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit. There are no points to burn or moving parts to wear out--in fact, you can expect a 2:1 improvement over points in current fall time for increased coil output. Their tailored advance curve provides optimal performance and drivability. PerTronix Flame-Thrower British engine performance distributors are made using an epoxy molding, making the module impervious to oil, grease, dirt, and moisture. Offered for 12 V negative and positive ground systems, these distributors feature stable timing with no need for adjustments.
