Flywheels serve three purposes: First, to maintain a rotating mass (inertia) to assist the engine rotation, providing a more consistent delivery of torque during running. Second, to provide a ring gear for the starter motor to engage on. And third, to provide one of the driving friction surfaces for the friction disc. Perfection clutch slave cylinders convert non-hydraulic pressure into hydraulic pressure, in order to move other devices located at the other end of the hydraulic system. These assemblies are engineered for faster installation than original equipment, using existing lines and no special tools. OEM plastic cylinders are prone to cracking, but Perfection cylinders are made from solid blocks, bored and honed for accurate tolerances and maximum durability.
