MSD Cam Sync Generators
After an MSD DIS-2 series ignition control is installed on the waste spark ignition system of some vehicles, the ECM of the vehicle will not be able to receive a cam sync signal. These MSD cam sync generators produce a cam sync signal after startup for the factory ECM. This is done by detecting a cylinder that is under compression through its signal wire, which is wrapped around the designated spark plug wire.

MSD Pro-Billet Distributors
MSD Pro-Billet distributors share the same CNC machining techniques as the rest of the MSD distributor line. They feature a housing that's machined from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum for durability and show-quality looks. Their oversized shaft receives a QPQ coating for friction reduction and corrosion resistance, with the added strength of two sealed ball bearings that guide the shaft accurately at well over 10,000 rpm. An extra-long sintered bushing replaces the ball bearing at the bottom of Chevrolet models. TIG-welded on top of the polished steel shaft is MSD's accurate mechanical advance assembly. The weights are supported by nylon pads that allow the advance to operate smoothly throughout the rpm range. For all-out racing, the advance mechanism can also be easily locked out. To accurately trigger the ignition, a high-output magnetic pickup is bolted to the base. This pickup produces a precise trigger signal that will never vary more than one degree at any rpm. A durable gear is installed for performance applications, and an MSD red cap with brass terminals and race rotor is supplied. They're available in standard and small diameter models for applications with limited clearance, and require the use of a separate ignition box such as an MSD 6, 7, 8, or 10 Series ignition.

MSD High-Current Solid State Relay Blocks
MSD high-current solid state relay blocks take the place of four standard relays and eliminates unsightly wiring. Four independent channels can be activated using either power or ground. Each channel is capable of handling up to 35 amps of continuous current, providing up to 140 amps of power, and also has the capability of pulse width modulation. The blocks can easily be mounted using the supplied hardware and mounting tabs that can be rotated 90 degrees to accommodate various mounting locations. Clean up your wiring with MSD high-current solid state relay blocks. MSD Pro-Billet HEI Distributors
The MSD Pro-Billet HEI distributors pick up where the originals left off. Drawing on years of high-performance ignition experience, MSD engineers created a unique ignition module and internal coil that are capable of running above 9,000 rpm. Stock and other aftermarket modules lose spark energy at about 4,500 rpm. These modules produce 50 percent more current than stock units, and deliver a much more precise timing signal as well as more dwell control. The coil delivers over 100 millijoules of energy across the plug gap. For strength and high rpm stability, the QPQ-treated oversized shaft is guided by a sealed ball bearing on top and long sintered bushing at the bottom. The QPQ coating provides a low-friction coating on the shaft and also makes it highly resistant to corrosion. TIG welded to the top of the shaft is an adjustable mechanical advance assembly. The distributors are supplied with extra springs and stop bushings, so you can tailor an ignition curve to match your driving needs. The advance assembly features chromoly weights that slide on nylon pads for smooth timing advancement through the entire rpm range. There is also a vacuum advance canister to improve economy while cruising. All of these features are enclosed in a great looking, billet aluminum housing that is CNC-machined for accuracy and incredible strength. The distributors come complete and ready to drop in with a high-quality rotor and cap with brass terminals for great spark transfer. Simply connect a 12 V source to the distributor and you're up and running. They're designed to replace GM HEI distributors that use a 4-pin ignition module.

MSD Pro-Billet Locked-Out Distributors
MSD Pro-Billet locked-out distributors are built from strong billet aluminum for engines that run locked-out timing or an MSD timing computer. With no advance assembly, the rotor plate is welded directly to the oversized shaft. A sealed ball bearing guides the top of the shaft, while an extra-long sintered bushing stabilizes the lower portion. This extra support ensures stable and accurate timing signals throughout your engine's entire rpm range. Trigger signals are produced via a high-output magnetic pickup. This pickup is extremely accurate and never requires adjustment. A precision-manufactured reluctor is responsible for triggering the pickup. Since these distributors are designed primarily for race engines, an oversized (+.006 in.) bronze gear is installed, along with an adjustable slip collar for modified blocks, heads, or intake manifolds.

MSD Pro-Billet Tach Drive Distributors
If your racecar, Corvette, or race Corvette requires a distributor with a mechanical tach drive, these Pro-Billet Tach Drive distributors from MSD are what you need. Their race-proven magnetic pickup delivers precise trigger signals to your MSD ignition every time one of the reluctor's precision paddles pass by. This reluctor assembly is connected to an oversized steel shaft for increased strength and endurance, and is responsible for triggering the magnetic pickup. Inside the stout billet 6061-T6 aluminum housing, a sealed ball bearing and long sintered bushing guide the 0.500 in. steel shaft for high-rpm accuracy. Just above the reluctor is an adjustable mechanical advance assembly that lets you tailor a timing curve to match your engine's needs. This assembly is TIG welded for strength, and features chromoly weights and nylon pads to ensure smooth advance as the rpm increases. Corvette models feature a vacuum advance, and are available with or without an adjustable slip collar for engines that have had the deck height modified or use exotic intake manifolds. The distributors also feature a Rynite base. The tach drive assembly has a grease fitting for lubrication, is compact to clear the firewall and linkage, and can be repositioned easily to fit different applications. MSD Programmable Digital-7 Plus CD Ignitions
MSD Programmable Digital-7 CD Plus ignitions have an output power and Individual Cylinder Management timing system that are hard to beat. At the heart of these ignitions is a 15 MHz micro-controller that analyzes and manages every trigger signal. Their capacitive discharge circuits and state-of-the-art IGBT coil drivers work together to deliver a potent spark that can easily handle high cylinder pressures. Below 3,300 rpm, a series of sparks burn in the cylinder over 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation, producing a smooth idle with great throttle response. You can control all of this spark energy through an array of timing and rpm programs. These programs include: Individual cylinder timing that can program up to 10 degrees per cylinder in .1 degree increments, a launch retard that lets you retard the timing up to 15 degrees for 0-2.5 seconds after the launch, a launch timing curve, and a run curve enabling you to plot a timing curve in .1 degree increments per 100 rpm. They also feature a three-step retard, a gear retard that can retard timing up to 5 degrees with every gear change, a start retard, three rev limiters, a shift light, and an rpm-activated window switch. MSD Pro-Billet Marine Distributors
MSD recognized the need for a true marine performance distributor and built these Pro-Billet marine distributors to answer this need. Marine environments place rigorous demands on every component of the ignition system, especially the distributor. The combination of water spray, salt exposure, full throttle acceleration, and harsh vibrations all take their toll. The housing is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, creating a housing with no porosity or weak areas. Internally, a Tuftride coated steel shaft is guided by a sealed ball bearing and an extra-long sintered bushing for high-speed stability and endurance. Each distributor uses MSD's race-proven magnetic pickup to trigger the ignition control. The pickup receives its signal through a precision-manufactured reluctor that is attached to the shaft. The mechanical advance assembly receives a QPQ plating for long lasting resistance to corrosion in marine environments. Their mechanical advance assembly is easily adjustable, so you can dial-in an ignition curve to match your boat's application. Three additional sets of advance springs and stop bushings are included with detailed instructions, making adjustments easy to perform and understand. The distributor cap is bolted and sealed to the aluminum base, and has two flame arrestor holes with brass screens machined into the base of the distributor. This design works to prevent ignition of gas fumes that may build up in the engine compartment. A special weathertight connector is supplied to provide a positive lock and water-resistant connection. This heavy-duty connector will withstand high temperatures and water, and plugs directly into the MSD 6M-2 or 7M-2 ignitions. The distributors come complete with a high-quality, bolt-down alkyd cap and MSD's racing rotor. These high-quality distributors have been tested by the Underwriter's Laboratory, and are certified to meet or exceed safety standards for marine ignition systems as set by the U.S. Coast Guard. MSD Digital Single-Channel Ignition Testers
MSD single-channel ignition testers allow you to check the entire ignition system while it is in the car. Once the ignition tests good, you can continue troubleshooting and find the culprit. The testing units produce a simulated trigger signal that fires the ignition just as if the engine were running. A special load-producing, clip-on spark plug is included to connect to the coil wire. If the spark is unable to jump the gap of the tester, there is an ignition problem and you can trace it down. The testers operate on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines and will simulate up to 10,000 rpm.

MSD distributorless ignition tachometer adapters allow you to install an aftermarket tachometer on vehicles with no distributor and multiple coil packs. These compact tach drivers measure only 1.5"x 3.5"x 2" and are potted with a polyurethane compound for vibration and water protection so it can easily be mounted under the hood. It wires inline on the coils' 12 volt supply wire where it senses the current going through the wire and converts this information into a 12 volt output signal that most aftermarket tachometers use as a trigger signal.
