MSD 6-MOD Ford Modular Engine Controller
The 6-Mod Ignition Controller was originally developed for the 4.6 and 5.4-liter modular motors that were fed through a carburetor rather than an electronic fuel injection system. However, with the useful options that the 6-Mod provides, such as two rev limits, a step retard and easy control over the timing, the EFI people wanted a way to take advantage of the adjustment. The harness kit provides a splice-free installation of the MSD 6-Mod Controller to factory equipped EFI vehicles making installation a snap. All of the connectors plug directly to the factory units so there is no cutting or splicing of your factory wires. Once installed, the 6-Mod allows users to advance or retard the factory's timing curve, program a step retard for use with nitrous systems or even map out a timing curve through a laptop by using MSD's Pro-Data+ software.

MSD Pro Power Coils
When tested against a competitor's coil, the MSD Pro Power coils produced 33 percent more current at the plug. They have an oil-filled insulated polyester case, an extra-tall high-tension spark plug tower to stop voltage leaks, and rubber shock mounts. They're designed for drag race use only, with MSD 7 and 8 Series ignitions.

MSD Flying Magnet Crank Trigger Kits
MSD flying magnet crank triggers use four magnets permanently embedded in an aluminum wheel. As the crank rotates, the magnets pass a non-magnetic pickup, which triggers the ignition. These MSD systems include a trigger wheel, pickup, CNC-machined aluminum mounting bracket, and hardware.
