One of the big problems with fiberglass and other lightweight panels is keeping them attached, because the fasteners that secure them tend to pull out or come loose from the thin material. Moroso Quick Fastener reinforcing plates can help put an end to that. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and provide a large metal surface that spreads the load over a much bigger area to keep those quarter turn and cam-lock fasteners securely attached.

Quarter-turn fasteners are commonly used in racing applications because they make quick panel removals possible. Now you can place the holes perfectly with a specialty tool from Moroso. Their transfer stud punches can be used on fiberglass, Lexan, and other lightweight body panels, and they're easy to use. Simply place the transfer stud punch in a weld plate or body panel, and then position your panel over top of it and lightly tap the panel with a hammer. You'll be left with a mark on the panel showing you where to drill the holes for fasteners. The tools are available in different punch sizes. From the racing pit to the pro shop, Moroso has you covered.
