Their unique blend of comfort and control is due to Tenneco's "Twin Technology Active Control System." This exclusive internal damping control technology consists of an impact control valve (ICV) that delivers exceptional control in all driving conditions, together with a patented, low-speed tenability piston design to isolate impact-related noise, vibration, and harshness. Monroe Strut-Mate mounting kits are direct replacements designed to complement the ride control characteristics of Monroe struts. They use an internal bearing for long life. Monroe Strut-Mate mounting kits attach to your existing OEM holes and allow the strut to pass through the center of the bearing for top mounting. Not only are these kits a necessary component of the suspension system, but they can also prevent noise, steering binding, vibration and vehicle pull.
