These McGard drag racing lug nuts are designed to be lightweight and strong and are proof-load tested to 160,000 psi. They are machined from special high-quality steel and then hardened and tempered for strength and durability. Their triple-nickel chrome plating is guaranteed for life not to chip, peel, or rust. For street use, the black nylon Allen plug can be left in place. For the strip or Pro Street cars, unscrew the plug to allow for the use of extra-long NHRA-approved studs.
