Max Papis Innovations DRG2 steering wheels are the evolution of the popular DRG model and represent the current pinnacle of the MPI DRAG line of wheels. New features have been born from feedback of several drag racers around the globe. The inner structure is engineered to deform under elevated impacts, safely absorbing the load and reducing the effect on the driver's upper body. The new oval shaped grip structure makes holding the wheel a natural feel for the driver. The new inner foam injection was developed to have the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry. Three sizes are offered (10, 12, and 13 in.), each with over 10 button locations, giving even the most demanding racers infinite adjustability. Each wheel features: 4 small 1/2 in. holes, 2 small 1/2 in. x 1 1/4 in. slots, and 5 large 5/8 in. x 2 in. slots. The selected suede covering provides a high-grip, natural feel, reducing the effort needed to hold the wheel while increasing driver feeling. The featured MPI Orange markers help both driver and crew chief have a visual reference of the steering wheel position. All models feature the standard drag racing 5-bolt pattern, while the MPI-DRG-10 also includes four pilot holes for mini drag. Each wheel is individually serial numbered for traceability.

The D model is the first dirt steering wheel that Max Papis Innovations ever produced. It was developed with the help of Donny Schatz, the most successful dirt racer in history. The D represents the pinnacle of the MPI dirt line of wheels, engineered using all the technology developed for the stock car models to create the most advanced, safest, and ergonomic dirt steering wheel on the market. What makes the DM2 wheel unique is the innovative grip feeling, the attention to detail in its construction, and the MPI technology used to improve its safety. The KQS has a flat top and bottom to provide more visibility and legroom and 3-bolt design is easily installed to just about every Quarter Midget race car steering column. These top-level quarter midget steering wheels have an aerospace lightweight TIG-welded aluminum core wrapped in proprietary MPI vibration absorbing foam that's engineered to the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry.
