Max Papis Innovations Steering Wheel Quick-Releases
Max Papis Innovations steering wheel quick-releases are available in 3-bolt and 6-bolt models. These adapters are SFI 42.1 tested and approved. They feature hard-coated aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum construction with a black anthracite anodized finish. Max Papis Innovations KQS Steering Wheels
Max Papis and his innovative line of racing steering wheels now includes their KQS model specifically designed for Quarter Midget racers. The KQS has a flat top and bottom to provide more visibility and legroom and 3-bolt design is easily installed to just about every Quarter Midget race car steering column. These top-level quarter midget steering wheels have an aerospace lightweight TIG-welded aluminum core wrapped in proprietary MPI vibration absorbing foam that's engineered to the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry. The inner structure of the steering wheel has been engineered to deform under elevated impacts, absorbing the load and reducing the effect on the driver's upper body, offering an engineered safety advantage. The mix of material with strategic areas finished with an extreme grip carbon-look RG material covering and MPI's Orange crossed-stitched technique increases driver hand grip, reducing the effort needed to hold the wheel while increasing driver feeling. Two built-in Orange centering stripes aid both driver and crew chief to better determine steering wheel input for improved lines on the track and improved set ups in the pits. The wheel is individually serial numbered for traceability and includes a center pad for added protection.

Max Papis Innovations Oval Steering Wheels
Max Papis Innovations' models 0082 and 0022 are the first MPI marine-grade steering wheels adapted for use in golf carts and recreational vehicles. The spoke structure is engineered to exceed the strict ABYC marine testing requirements that include bending, deformation, rigidity, durability, and weather resistance tests. The spokes are polished and then anodized to offer superior resistance to extreme weather—and they're able to pass an industry standard 500 hour Salt Fog Test certification for corrosion. The same oval grip shape developed for MPI race-winning steering wheels has been applied here to make taking hold of the wheel natural and comfortable for extended operation. A proprietary method of inner foam injection was developed to have the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry, while still providing a "soft feel" for the operator with just the right amount of tactile feeling as it compresses in their hands. Each wheel is finished by hand using the highest grade PPG paints, creating a superior and lasting finish that pops in the outdoors. Assembled by hand, each steering wheel receives an individual serial number for traceability—and ships with all the necessary assembly screws and an MPI branded center bezel.
