They feature a new and improved thicker design for extended life—and come complete with a cap and air screw with gaskets. Utility can caps are considered a "wear item" and will need to be replaced from time to time, depending on the storage conditions. Matrix recommends cracking open the air screw to reduce pressure build-up in your can.
