Manley steel H-beam connecting rods are made from forged 4340 steel alloy. They're packed full of performance features, such as a compact uniform-grain structure for ultimate strength, full machining, stress relieving, and magnafluxing. The wrist pin and big end bores are honed to a +/-.0002 in. tolerance, and the wrist pins get a bronze alloy bushing. These units include cap screw ARP 8740 alloy rod bolts, and each rod set is weight-matched to within 2 grams. Available individually or in a set, order the model recommended for your vehicle year/make and engine application.

When it comes to building horsepower and torque, you need to start at the bottom and work your way up. Manley rotating assemblies are designed for performance enthusiasts wanting to get the most out of their engines. Their assemblies feature 4340 forged steel crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods, either 7/16 in. ARP 8740 cap screws with a 750 hp rating for LS engines/900 hp for big blocks, or optional ARP 2000 cap screws for up to 1,500 hp. They use 2618 Platinum Series forged aluminum pistons, chromoly premium wrist pins, Total Seal piston rings, and Clevite "H" Series narrowed rods and "P" or "H" Series main engine bearings.
