Lokar U-Cut-to-Fit Rear Brake Cables
Lokar offers U-Cut-To-Fit rear brake cables for a variety of applications, including many 1940s and '50s era Chevy and GMC trucks. The cables mount from backing plates on the rear-end to the original cross shaft chassis. They're designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and the stainless inner cable resists moisture. Each kit includes two 4 ft. outer braided stainless steel housings that "U-Cut-to-Fit." This design allows rear-end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature two adjustable cable locks and clevis.

Lokar Universal Emergency Brake Cables
Lokar universal emergency brake cables feature quality, one-piece aluminum adjusters and an aluminum ferrule to eliminate fraying of the stainless steel housing. The outer housing is PTFE-lined for smooth operation, and the stainless inner cable resists moisture. The design allows the rear-end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing the brake cables, for ease of assembly and maintenance. These replacement cables are available for a wide range of applications, from the 1940s and up.
