LizardSkin Original Ceramic Insulation is a water-based composition of high-grade acrylic binders with air filled reflective and sound absorbing ceramic particles. LizardSkin is non-toxic and Class A fire-rated. LizardSkin is an innovative easily applied coating system designed to diminish both heat and sound. Applied by spray method it forms a sealed, seamless and flexible black membrane, perfect for cars and trucks, street rods and customs, race cars, buses, refrigerated trailers, RVs, motor homes, experimental aircraft, and high end audio installations---wherever heat and noise are a problem. LizardSkin is completely water soluble, meaning easy clean-up with just soap and water. Each 2-gallon container covers 46-50 square feet with .040-.060 in. thickness.

These kits provide exactly what is needed for professionals and hobbyists to properly apply the coatings on their trucks, jeeps, vans, or complete classic car restoration projects. Other sprayers used for typical paint applications are not engineered to handle the thickness of the LizardSkin technologically advanced auto insulation coatings. But these LizardSkin SuperPro spray gun kits can! The SuperPro application sprayer features a much larger pick-up tube and spray nozzle, versus standard undercoating sprayers, thus ensuring more even, consistent coverage without clogging or splattering issues.
