The AGXs have velocity-sensitive valving that gives you a comfortable ride under gentle driving conditions, and yet automatically gets firmer as the driving gets more serious. These shocks let you tune the damping for your driving conditions without having to lift the vehicle or remove anything to change the settings. You select the damping rate simply by turning an external knob on the body of the shock, or via a screwdriver slot on the top of the piston rod, depending upon the make and model of the vehicle.
