The Kirkey 81 Series aluminum road race seat and cover kits are designed for road racing, kit cars, and club racing. The 81 Series seats are a true road race design with built-in shoulder support and are MIG-welded from .100 in. and .190 in. thick 5052 grade aluminum. The aluminum extrusion around the seats perimeter provides extra strength and safety. Extra support at rib height provides support for high G force cornering but is designed to not interfere with shifting. The seats unique three-piece design allows for maximum vertical adjustment. Shoulder and back adjusts 2 1/2 in. vertically and head restraint adjusts an additional 3/4 in. vertically. The contoured high-density foam bottom provides inner thigh support. The 81 Series seats are designed to accommodate all head and neck restraint systems, as well as 5-point or 6-point seat belts. These seat and cover kits consists of aluminum seat and comes with a black cloth seat cover. The seats are available in five sizes, 14 in., 15 in., 16 in., 17 in., and 18.5 in., order the seat size for your application needs. Fabricated for street stocks, IMCA modifieds, crate late models and short track racing, the 80 Series containment seats are MIG-welded from .100 in. and .190 in. thick 5052 Grade aluminum with a 20 degree layback. They are lightweight but strong! The black tweed seat covers are double-stitched at belt openings and high-stress areas, while a contoured high-density foam bottom provides leg and inner thigh support.
