JE Pistons LS Series Flat Top Pistons

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to its wide range of premium forged pistons for domestic applications, and they have been performance-proven in victory lane time and time again with the ultimate combination of durability and performance. JE Pistons LS Series flat top pistons are single replacements. Available in different bore sizes for right or left, the pistons are specifically engineered for extreme applications up to, and including, professional competition. In such environments, the higher compression ratios and boost necessitate the high-tensile strength of forged 2618 aluminum construction. The skirts feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design that minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin. These pins are constructed from 9310 high carbon alloy steel with a tapered wall designed for the highest strength to weight ratio possible. All JE Pistons are super-finished on both outside and inside diameters to help reduce piston pin bore wear and minimize fatigue cracking adding to the overall strength and reliability of the wrist pins. Employing the latest technology and quality control the Series 95 wrist pins are checked for the tiniest flaws and to insure the roundness of each pin. JE Pistons 427/428 FE Inverted Dome Top Pistons

JE Pistons 427/428 FE inverted dome top pistons are specially designed for aftermarket blocks and heads and are for use with the 427 or the 428 crank aftermarket 6.700 in. rod. Be sure that the factory block is sonic-checked for 4.280 in. and 4.310 in. bores. These pistons use 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. The compression ratios are figured for 10.150 block height. Larger bore sizes are available as customs; please contact the manufacturer for details.
