Innovate SSI-4 Plus 4-channel interfaces can be used as stand-alone devices for logging data directly into a laptop with the included LogWorks software—or used in conjunction with any other MTS (Modular Tuning System) compliant device. Channel 1 is a direct rpm input by default, and can also be configured for external 0-5 V, frequency, or spark reference for ignition timing measurement. Channels 2-4 are configured to digitize external 0-5 V analog signals by default. Channel 2 can directly measure frequencies (like driveshaft speed) or duty cycles (for injectors). Channel 3 can measure rpm from a VR (variable reluctance) sensor, and can also be set up for ignition timing crank angle reference (trigger wheels) or frequency. Innovate EGT band clamps help you securely attach sensors that measure exhaust gas temperature to your exhaust pipe. These components are hose clamp-style sensor mounts for standard EGT sensors. The EGT band clamps feature a tapered cone that minimizes possible exhaust leaks at sensor entrance. The square clamp saddle prevents sensor rotation and the clamp dimples allow for pipe expansion due to extreme exhaust temperatures. The lower profile allows installation in confined areas and the brass body/ferrule can tolerate multiple installations for use time and time again. Innovate's TC-4 Plus devices are 4-channel thermocouple amplifiers for the MTS (Modular Tuning System). These data acquisition components may be used as stand-alone amplifiers for logging directly into LogWorks, or they can be used in conjunction with any other MTS-compliant device to retrieve key temperature metrics. Each of the four inputs of the TC-4 can be configured by the user for EGT range (32-1,999 degrees F; 0-1,093 degrees C) or CHT range (32-572 degrees F; 0-300 degrees C) to measure cylinder head temperatures. The TC-4 Plus can also be used to measure other temperature metrics, such as the turbo inlet and outlet, catalytic converter, transmission, and more.
