U-joints from ididit are required between the column and the intermediate shaft for all ididit steering column installations. These U-joints are designed for use with the original shaft and for a new intermediate shaft.

The ididit steering column bushings are designed to isolate vibrations in the steering column and address unwanted steering wheel vibration originating from the road surface. Worn suspension bushings cause shimmy in the front, steering control problems, and stress on car joints.
