Icon Vehicle Dynamics multi-rate leaf spring packs include an add-in-leaf to create systems that offer a major performance gain for most any truck setup, even those requiring more load-carrying capabilities. These user-adjustable multi-rate leaf packs feature tip inserts and leaf separators that lessen friction, reduce noise, and increase ride comfort, while military-wrapped eyelets improve the durability and strength of the leaf spring. To increase the ride quality of your truck and gain additional droop travel, the spring rate has been lowered slightly—and this is where the add-in-leaf works. For those who have outfitted their trucks with significant weighty additions, the additional leaf can be exchanged or added to the pack yielding an additional 10 percent or 40 percent spring rate (depending on kit). OE leaf springs can have limiting factors … especially with fully loaded rigs with racks, rooftop tents, and the like. Icon Vehicle Dynamics Coilover Top Plate Reinforcement Kits
Icon testing revealed a weakness in the OE suspension on 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma vehicles--the front upper shock mount and shock stem bushing may fail under hard use. So, they developed a remedy specifically for this issue to prevent such damage. Icon Vehicle Dynamics coilover top plate reinforcement kits support and strengthen the factory upper shock mount and will also capture and retain the shock stem bushing, if a failure does occur. The reinforcement is quick and easy to install, as there is no need to jack-up the vehicle or remove the tire. Simply remove the three coilover top mount nuts, install the Icon top plate reinforcement, and re-torque the nuts. These kits do not affect or limit factory suspension operation or performance. Icon Vehicle Dynamics coilover top plate reinforcement plates are CNC-machined from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum.

Icon Vehicle Dynamics Hydraulic Bump Stop Kits
While the factory rear bump stops do a satisfactory job of absorbing impacts on a street-driven truck, ICON found that there was much room for improvement during spirited driving in rough, off-road terrain. The Icon Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tundra rear hydraulic bump stop system was designed to take the off-road capability of the truck to new levels—by significantly improving the bottom-out control of the rear suspension and reducing rear-end kick. Like all ICON hydraulic bumps stops, these feature both velocity and position sensitive technology; which means that as the shaft speed increases and moves through the travel, the force increases exponentially to provide excellent bottoming resistance that won't negatively affect articulation. This hydraulic bump stop system was developed as an OEM replacement, making installation a simple and straightforward bolt-on affair. With no major cutting, welding, or fabrication required, you have the option to return the vehicle back to its stock form. The factory rubber bump stops have a limited energy absorption capacity and a rapid release of this energy upon rebound; this translates into a harsh ride and poor handling in rough terrain. ICON hydraulic bump stops absorb and release this energy in a much more controlled manner due to the digressive rebound piston valving, resulting in predictable handling and vehicle dynamics. Icon Vehicle Dynamics Intelligent Control installation kits are must-have, smart tools to have onboard your vehicle. They package computer, along with application specific mounting brackets, hardware, and wiring harnesses to ensure your install is easy and clean looking. Choose the proper IIC kit for your vehicle. Icon Intelligent Control (IIC) is the computer that monitors, analyzes, and processes data in real-time. Information from the onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and wheel position. IIC has the capability to collect information at over 1,000 times per second, process the data, make adjustments, and then deliver those changes to the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) in the shock absorbers in under 40 ms.
