Icon Vehicle Dynamics Multi-Rate Leaf Spring Packs
Icon Vehicle Dynamics multi-rate leaf spring packs include an add-in-leaf to create systems that offer a major performance gain for most any truck setup, even those requiring more load-carrying capabilities. These user-adjustable multi-rate leaf packs feature tip inserts and leaf separators that lessen friction, reduce noise, and increase ride comfort, while military-wrapped eyelets improve the durability and strength of the leaf spring. To increase the ride quality of your truck and gain additional droop travel, the spring rate has been lowered slightly—and this is where the add-in-leaf works. For those who have outfitted their trucks with significant weighty additions, the additional leaf can be exchanged or added to the pack yielding an additional 10 percent or 40 percent spring rate (depending on kit). OE leaf springs can have limiting factors … especially with fully loaded rigs with racks, rooftop tents, and the like. Icon Vehicle Dynamics Leaf Spring Expansion Packs
ICON Vehicle Dynamics offers rear leaf spring expansion packs for a variety of applications, including the 2007-21 Toyota Tundra. Unlike traditional add-a-leafs that obtain lift height at the cost of stiffening the spring rate and sacrificing ride quality, these kits replace all the factory secondary leaves while only retaining the factory main and overload springs. This allows ICON to soften the spring rate to increase ride comfort while also increasing ride height—maintaining load and towing capacities, and increasing wheel travel when paired with ICON shock absorbers. A new U-bolt kit is also included to make the installation a breeze. Icon Vehicle Dynamics offers tubular adjustable link kits for a variety of applications. The rear upper and lower links help free up rear axle movement on the 2021-UP Ford Bronco to allow for increased suspension travel and articulation. They're formed using 1 3/4 in. x .313 wall DOM tubing for high strength, with CNC-machined threaded ends and bushing housings—and feature a multi-stage black powdercoat finish. Upper links are designed specifically for improved fuel tank clearance at maximum articulation; while lower links are designed for high clearance for reduced contact with trail obstacles.
