Icon Vehicle Dynamics multi-rate leaf spring packs include an add-in-leaf to create systems that offer a major performance gain for most any truck setup, even those requiring more load-carrying capabilities. These user-adjustable multi-rate leaf packs feature tip inserts and leaf separators that lessen friction, reduce noise, and increase ride comfort, while military-wrapped eyelets improve the durability and strength of the leaf spring. To increase the ride quality of your truck and gain additional droop travel, the spring rate has been lowered slightly—and this is where the add-in-leaf works. For those who have outfitted their trucks with significant weighty additions, the additional leaf can be exchanged or added to the pack yielding an additional 10 percent or 40 percent spring rate (depending on kit). OE leaf springs can have limiting factors … especially with fully loaded rigs with racks, rooftop tents, and the like. Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 VS PB shocks are nitrogen charged monotube designs with piggyback reservoirs. They are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune, they are 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable. Icon designed 2.5 VS PB shocks with a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock to create an internal "bump zone" that, when used, creates an additional 20 percent of damping force, preventing harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. Icon Vehicle Specific 2.5 PB shocks are also offered with a Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV), for those wanting a more user defined tune. Choose the pair right for you.
