Icon Vehicle Dynamics Steering Tie Rod Ends

The strength limitations of the Ford Bronco's factory steering tie rods has been well documented, especially by Bronco owners who venture into the big rocks with big tires. These ICON XD Forged steering tie rod kits remedy this with better materials and beefier dimensions than the stock units. The inner tie rod and ball stud is CNC-machined from 4140 chromoly. The adjustment threads, where most failures occur on stock tie rods, are 18mm on the XD Forged tie rods versus 14mm on stock Bronco tie rods. The outer tie rod is forged steel and has the same bend as the stock tie rods for fitting all of the Bronco's factory wheel diameters and offsets—along with just about any aftermarket wheel. The tie rod end is a beefier, metal-on-metal joint that's greaseable for extended service life and has the same range of operating angle as the stock tie rod ends. For the most hardcore off-roaders, the ICON Vehicle Dynamics XD Forged tie rod kit (45212) is recommended as part of a comprehensive steering system upgrade strategy. Features at a glance: * 30 percent larger diameter than OE tie rods * 4140 chromoly inner ball studs * Forged steel outer tie rod ends * Metal on metal ball joint design with grease zerks * Design to fit around factory wheel offset * Includes inner tie rod boots that protect the steering rack from dirt and debris TECH INFO: * Compatible with OE HOSS 1.0 and HOSS 2.0 steering racks * Also compatible with HOSS 3.0 steering racks, but the dust boot must be stretched to fit over the rack housing * Not compatible with Bronco Raptor * Not compatible with aftermarket tie rod braces

Icon Vehicle Dynamics Centerline Stabilizer Kits

Icon Vehicle Dynamics Centerline stabilizer kits are engineered to provide consistent steering damping with a through-shaft design, eliminating the common push/pull sensation associated with traditional steering stabilizers. The stabilizers feature a high-clearance design that allows for fitment on all Icon suspension systems. Icon's Centerline steering stabilizers share the same great build features as their 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks, including a clear anodized 6063 aluminum shock body for corrosion resistance, a 5/8 in. chrome plated hardened steel shaft for durability, premium 5WT shock oil that provides consistent damping characteristics across a wide operating temperature range, and a high-temperature long wear seal pack that stands up to harsh conditions found both on and off-road. Centerline stabilizers mount using CNC-machined billet aluminum 1 3/8 in. tie rod clamps (optional 1 5/8 in. clamps available, but not included) and the rod end features FK spherical bearings for precise and reliable operation. Features and benefits: * Increased steering damping over stock unit * Provides symmetrical steering feel throughout input range * 100 percent bolt-on installation * Fully serviceable Icon 2.0 Aluminum Series shock * Clear anodized aluminum shock body also provides superb heat dissipation
