Hybrid Racing K-Swap Clutch Release Systems

Hybrid Racing K-Swap clutch release system upgrades help to eliminate grinds during hard shifts and improve the feel of gear changes. Factory clutch master cylinders in newer cars are known to be rather unreliable, and because of their poor design and quality, they can lead to premature failures of critical parts throughout the drivetrain. High rpm grinds are mostly attributed to the OE master cylinder's inability to transfer fluid effectively to the slave cylinder, thus causing grinding and rasping of the gears and synchro since the clutch disc hasn't fully disengaged. Upgrading the clutch master cylinder and clutch line to Hybrid Racing K-Swap clutch release systems changes the system to an older, more direct, and efficient system. This improvement allows the driver to feel a more consistent and direct clutch pedal which also improves shifting at high rpms. Hybrid Racing A2 K-Series Swap Bolt-In Short Shifters

Hybrid Racing offers A2 K-Series Swap bolt-in short shifters for a variety of applications, including many Honda© and Acura© models from 1988 and up. In 2008 Hybrid engineers set out to solve one of the largest headaches that K-Series swaps presented—What do you do about the OEM RSX plastic shifter? After a few months of designing and prototyping, they created the very first Bolt-In K-Series swap shifter. The Hybrid Racing Bolt-In K-Swap shifters allow you to retain the stock center console in your EF, EG, EK, and DC chassis and only require drilling two small holes. They work with both stock DC5 shifter cables and the Hybrid Racing race cables. From California to England to Japan, racers all around the world choose Hybrid shifters not only for their reliability but for ease of installation and adjustability. The front/back throw can be adjusted to three different settings (100 percent stock throw, 75 percent stock throw, and 50 percent stock throw). The left/right throw can also be adjusted to three different settings (again, 100 percent stock throw, 75 percent stock throw, and 50 percent stock throw). Hybrid Racing Cold Air Intake Systems

Hybrid Racing offers cold air intake systems for a variety of applications, including select Honda© and Acura© models. Designing an intake system with a set of guidelines isn't hard to achieve. However, building an intake system that not only fits every engine combination while allowing that setup to produce more power is. Hybrid chose to narrow that field and focus on the best recipe for power gains. Combined with its high-flow velocity air filter, these cold air intake systems have shown gains of up to 10 percent (5-10 hp) across the powerband compared to a short ram system, while significantly reducing intake air temperatures. Don't want to relocate your battery? No problem. The Hybrid Racing RSX intake allows for the battery to stay in the OEM location. These intakes require a 70mm or larger throttle body and the RBC/RRC style intake manifolds. Fitment or compatibility with an OEM PRB intake is not guaranteed. Slight trimming of the LH inner fender lining is required, and the removal or relocation of the OEM windshield washer bottle is needed. Alterations to cars running OEM Type R brake cooling ducts may be necessary. The included radiator hose fits the K20A/A2/A3/Z1 water neck. It may not fit the K20Z3/K24 water neck. These economical units feature an unparalleled level of adjustability so drivers can tweak every aspect of the shifter to suit their own preference. The shifters' frame is constructed from TIG-welded, powdercoated, 1000 Series steel. The anodized upper and lower rocker assemblies are now made of single pieces of aerospace-grade aluminum, with custom sealed ball bearings to reduce friction. The new V2 shifter, for instance, is 60 percent smoother than the original version, requiring much less physical effort to row through gears all while being significantly lighter. Shift throw adjustment is achieved using two threaded cable attachment pins, meaning fine tweaks can be made to shift throw, allowing you to dial in the exact throw that suits your shifting style. The fuel pressure regulator is often overlooked but a very critical component in a vehicle's fuel system. Without reliable and consistent fuel pressure, your ECU cannot know how much fuel it injects into each cylinder. Most conventional fuel pressure regulators use a bladder-type design. While they are cost-effective and react to disturbances quickly, those bladders often lead to significant pressure fluctuations, which are manifested as a bouncing needle on your pressure gauge. Hybrid Racing K-Swap Cold Air Intake Systems

Hybrid Racing offers K-Swap cold air intake systems for a variety of applications, including select Honda© and Acura© cars from 1992 and up. These replacements are true 3 in. intakes that do a better job of keeping your intake charge cool and your engine bay looking hot. The most obvious feature on these intakes is the 100 percent glass-reinforced silicone construction. By using silicone, Hybrid created an intake that actually insulates the air going into the engine. For K-Swaps, this is particularly important since most setups put the cold air intake directly behind the radiator. What many people don't consider is that since aluminum is such a fantastic thermal conductor (hence why it is used in radiators), an aluminum cold air intake will actually absorb heat given off by the radiator. This increases the intake air temperature while decreasing the motor's performance. The silicone counteracts this by acting as a thermal barrier (much like header wrap); this leads to lower intake air temps and a denser intake charge. Another benefit of the silicone construction is that there's no need for a coupler at the throttle body. The intake connects to the throttle body with just a single T-bolt clamp, meaning less turbulence as air enters the intake manifold. A less noticeable but very important feature of these intakes is that they work with RBC, RRC, and PRB intake manifolds. Most competing K-Swap intakes work with either the PRB intake manifold or the RBC/RRC intake manifolds, but not both. Hybrid took the extra time to create an intake that would work with all three! On top of that, the kits are designed to work with OEM K-Series throttle bodies AND big bore throttle bodies. The included T-bolt clamp is custom designed to fit both applications. And who can forget about looks! Everyone knows that with K-Swaps, making power and going fast is the name of the game, but looking good while you do it doesn't hurt either. That's why Hybrid Racing made this one of the cleanest looking intakes on the market. When installed, only the intake tube and a single T-bolt clamp are visible. The hanger that attaches to the chassis is neatly tucked into the driver's side fender for the cleanest install possible. Directly threaded, these knobs fit all Honda© threaded shifters. "130R" is represented in a few meaningful ways. Named after the famous 130R corner at Suzuka Circuit in Japan, the curvature is also radiused at 130 degrees, giving a physical meaning as well. The 130R knobs are wider, taller, and slightly larger overall compared to the Maxim knob. Hybrid Racing increased the height by 15mm and diameter by 5mm to aid in strength and to offer a larger surface to grab while shifting. Hybrid Racing Chicane shift knobs are explicitly designed for new-generation cars. They feature a stainless steel core, adding heft to an otherwise lightweight design. The boot collar contains a rare earth magnet used to secure the boot to the shift knob without using tools, rubber, etc. These knobs are available in aluminum, titanium, or Delrin© material—in a variety of color options.
