For use with factory 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch prep packages, Husky Towing Products fifth wheel puck adapters meet SAE J2638 5th wheel standards, and work with most industry 16K hitches with a 20 5/8 in. footprint. Husky Towing Products 26K Fifth Wheel Hitch Gliders
Husky Towing 26K fifth wheel hitch gliders are for use with their "W" Series hitch head. Today with any roller, if you have load against the locking pin or mechanism, you have to jockey the truck and keep getting in and out trying the handle until it disengages. Enter Husky's 10 to 26 composite slider, which temporarily positions the kingpin 10 in. behind the cruising location, so low speed truck and trailer maneuvers can be executed without worries of the trailer coming into contact with the truck's cab. Another great feature of this innovative fifth wheel system is the operating handle design, which allows the operator to latch and unlatch the slide mechanism without concern for the trailer's angle because the latch cannot bind. It automatically activates, allowing trailer to move back for tight turns. When repositioned, it'll also latch automatically again when the kingpin is back at the optimal cruising position just ahead of the axle. Product highlights and features: * 10 in.
