Howards Cams race series vertical bar hydraulic roller lifters offer proprietary hydraulic valving specifically designed for continuous operation to 6,600 rpm with ideal seat pressures between 150-160 lbs. The lifter bodies are fully machined from alloy steel bar stock and are completely micro-polished. The nose wheels are machined from 8620 material and the cases are hardened for durability. Howards Cams ProMax direct lube mechanical roller lifters feature "Full Time" high pressure oiling to the roller bearing shafts. This continuous oiling offers higher rpm and high spring pressure capabilities. ProMax lifters feature lightened steel alloy bodies with a special enhanced finish and heat-treated stainless steel link bars. The case-hardened 8620 rollers are fitted with the best alloy bearings and pins. These are the same materials and designs used on most Top Fuel lifters. The .300 in. taller body allows these lifters to fit early, late model, and aftermarket locks. Howards Cams ProMax direct lube mechanical roller lifters are also fully rebuildable.
