They're made from proprietary blended, carbon reinforced, bearing-grade polymer. Ultra Lite billet fuel pump pushrods weigh only 0.9 oz. (27 grams) to eliminate fuel pump cavitation. Gentle on the cam lobe, they can be used with cast or billet cams. These fuel pump pushrods are self-lubricating and super-strong.

Howards Cams Ultimate Duty forged billet connecting rods start with certified high-nickel 4340 aircraft-quality steel and are fully CNC-machined on the newest generation of equipment to ensure the removal of all surface imperfections. They are specially heat-treated using a multi-phase process to produce the ultimate in strength and reliability. Then these Ultimate Duty rods are fully stress-relieved and shot-peened to ensure that no stress risers remain. Howards Cams Ultimate Duty Forged billet connecting rods are profiled for long stroke applications and weight savings.
