Hot Shot's Secret replacement Frantz synthetic oil filter medias have a graduated stage process that filters down to 2 microns, yielding true depth filtration. The melt-blown filter medias are created from 100 percent polypropylene, which can last two to three times longer than cellulose medias. Synthetic oil filter medias have two other advantages: a more consistent flow rate, and they hold their form better than cellulose-based medias.
