Hot Shot's Secret offers Frantz oil filter systems to keep your vehicle on the road longer. These supplemental filter systems are extremely efficient at removing solid contamination from lubricating oil. They are capable of removing extremely small size particles from the oil by providing filtration through densely packed filtering media. Oil flowing through the filter system is controlled at a deliberate rate, which allows for a constant source of clean oil. Even after many thousands of miles of use, oil filtered through a Frantz filter system will be free of contamination to such a degree that it is considered analytically clean and suitable for further use. Hot Shot's Secret replacement Frantz synthetic oil filter medias have a graduated stage process that filters down to 2 microns, yielding true depth filtration. The melt-blown filter medias are created from 100 percent polypropylene, which can last two to three times longer than cellulose medias. Synthetic oil filter medias have two other advantages: a more consistent flow rate, and they hold their form better than cellulose-based medias.
