Heidts offers tubular control arms for the 1964-70 Mustang IFS Mustang II kits. These replacement arms work with either standard shocks and springs—or adjustable coilover shocks (depending on the set you order). Tubular arms are available in plain steel or polished stainless steel; and they come with sway bar tabs, polyurethane bushings, and ball joints installed. Different from the factory design, they yield a better camber change during suspension movement. Pivot points are determined by the ball joints on the spindles and bushing locations on the frame, not the control arms. The upper links are an adjustable tube, and the lowers are a square tube. They come to you with greasable swivel and fixed bushings installed. High performance urethane bushings are used to tighten up the suspension, and swivel ends allow for roll deflection under cornering loads for absolutely solid, positive handling.
