Note: When choosing a flywheel, remember that a heavier flywheel stores more energy. A heavy car requires more power (or inertia) to launch without bogging the engine and needs a heavier flywheel. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch but will accelerate faster through the gears. Show Less
