Hays Street/Strip Clutch Kits
Hays Street/Strip clutch kits are engineered and built as matched assemblies, using only top-quality new parts, to deliver maximum reliability and durability, as well as long-term dependability. They're available in both diaphragm and Borg & Beck styles, with sprung-hub clutch discs that have organic linings. Applications are available to fit a variety of cars and trucks aimed at street or street-and-strip use. These kits come complete with a pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, and clutch-alignment tool (most kits). A pilot bushing is not included.

Hays Billet Steel Flywheels
Hays steel flywheels are engineered to handle extreme-duty applications and designed to take the punishment of today's high-horsepower engines. They are CAD-engineered and precision CNC-machined to strict tolerances. Available in weights up to 50 lbs. for specialized applications, most Hays flywheels are drilled with both the Borg and Beck and Long-style clutch patterns. Upgrade to a precision-machined and engineered Hays billet steel flywheel. A heavy car requires more power (or inertia) to launch without bogging the engine and needs a heavier flywheel. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch, but will accelerate faster through the gears.

Hays Heavy-Duty Flexplates
Hays heavy-duty flexplates for high performance and competition engines are constructed from a thicker-than-stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-rpm engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high-torque and rpm conditions, the thicker Hays flexplates can handle the force. These heavy-duty flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and SFI-certified under specification 29.1.
