Hays Billet Steel Flywheels

Hays steel flywheels are engineered to handle extreme-duty applications and designed to take the punishment of today's high-horsepower engines. They are CAD-engineered and precision CNC-machined to strict tolerances. Available in weights up to 50 lbs. for specialized applications, most Hays flywheels are drilled with both the Borg and Beck and Long-style clutch patterns. Upgrade to a precision-machined and engineered Hays billet steel flywheel. Features include: * SFI-approved--legal for use in racing classes that require SFI certification * CNC-machined from certified billet steel for maximum strength and durability * CAD-designed for optimum performance and reliability * Offered in internal, external, or neutral (zero) balanced versions * Available for a wide variety of engines Note: When choosing a flywheel, remember that a heavier flywheel stores more energy. A heavy car requires more power (or inertia) to launch without bogging the engine and needs a heavier flywheel. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch, but will accelerate faster through the gears.

Hays Heavy-Duty Flexplates

Hays heavy-duty flexplates for high performance and competition engines are constructed from a thicker-than-stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-rpm engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high-torque and rpm conditions, the thicker Hays flexplates can handle the force. These heavy-duty flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and SFI-certified under specification 29.1.

Hays Hydraulic Pedal Height Adjuster Kits

Hays hydraulic pedal height adjuster kits plumb inline between your factory or aftermarket master cylinder and release bearing. By adjusting the screw on the top of the cylinder, fluid is initially diverted to the adjuster cylinder—and once the cylinder fills, the remaining fluid travels directly to the hydraulic bearing to actuate the clutch. This adjustment adds freeplay to the pedal and moves the engagement point down toward the floor. Hays pedal adjusters are compatible with most factory or aftermarket release bearing/master cylinder combinations with the proper adapters. Additional features: * Allows you to set clutch release point where you like in the pedal stroke * Easily plumbs inline between clutch master cylinder and release bearing * Black anodized finish for great looks * Includes a -3 AN tee fitting, 12 in. -3 AN braided line, and additional adapters (depending on application)
