Gennie Shifter's Lo-Stik shifter assemblies are the core of their hot rod shifters. Each Lo-Stik shifter enables you to combine your preferred length, shape, and style shifter stick with the proper mounting kit for your transmission. Then cap off the combo with your favorite shift knob and a great Gennie Shifter boot. Gennie Lo-Stik shifters are available with shift gates to fit popular General Motors, Ford, and Mopar transmissions. Like most OEMs, Gennie shifters use side detents to precisely define gear selection. This lateral action, with its positive stops, virtually eliminates shifting errors that can occur with straight line, button-style shifters (once the button is depressed, a straight line shifter can be pushed into any gear). Side detents also provide smooth manual shifting. Lo-Stik shifters all have a neutral safety switch and a gated lock-out for a safe, no-button shifter with fewer moving parts and no rattles; and you're never limited in your choice of shift knobs. In fact, with a Gennie Lo-Stik shifter assembly, it's a breeze to switch between Gennie shift sticks. Features include: * Delrin bushings * Neutral safety switch * Hardened Posiloc shift gate * Includes high-polished 303 stainless steel components * Precision-machined fit and finish * Backup light switches sold separately for select shifters

"The Perfect Shifter" handles from Gennie Shifter are made from highly polished 303 stainless steel, not chrome plated 1021 mild steel like most of their competitors. These shifter sticks feature a classic round profile—and you can choose from a variety of lengths and bend styles (including straight sticks and Gennie's dramatic Swan Double Bend sticks). Perfect Shifter stainless steel shift sticks have 5/16 in.-18 threads for shift knobs, and they're all designed to fit and work with Gennie Shifter's Lo-Stik family of automatic transmission shifter assemblies. The resulting 2-piece combination means you can detach the handle without getting under the car and dismantling the shifter. They can also be adapted to some manual transmissions with Gennie Lo-Shift manual transmission adapters (GIS-1070 or GIS-1071, each sold separately).

Gennie Shifter transmission dipsticks are available for most popular Ford, GM, and Chrysler automatic transmissions. They feature PTFE-lined stainless steel braided housings, anodized aluminum fittings, and OEM-recommended compression fittings (double O-ringed at the transmission). The dipsticks are offered in transmission-mount or firewall-mount styles and provide a clean, stable, universal way to keep up with your hot rod's transmission fluid level—while adding that super attention to detail that Gennie Shifter products are known for. The firewall-mount dipsticks require drilling two holes into the firewall for installation. Order the Gennie shifter transmission dipstick recommended to fit your application requirements.
