GearStar Quick4 Transmission Controllers
GearStar offers Quick4 Gen 2 standalone automatic transmission controllers for a variety of applications. They are required for any electronically controlled transmission. Each package contains the computer, wiring harness, and custom wire loom; comes preloaded with a tune designed for specific transmissions; and will include a throttle position sensor kit. --- Models are currently available to support these popular transmissions: * GM 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E (2008 and earlier) 13 pin main harness connector * GM 4L80E and 4L85E * Ford AOD-E, 4R70W 1998-2003 wiring harness with the 12 pin MLPS switch * Ford E4OD and 4R100 late solenoid connector, with 11 or 12 pin MLPS switch The Quick4 is a powerful, fully featured, easy-to-use transmission control system. It enables the use of modern, electronic 4-speed transmissions on a wide variety of vehicles that lack OEM capabilities, such as classic cars, trucks, or motor homes. It can also be used to enhance a modern vehicle's performance by taking over control from the OEM computer, allowing the user to directly adjust the shift points, firmness, torque converter engagement, and much more. The Quick4 does not require the use of a laptop for tuning. Tuning can be done through the user interface with a soft touch dial and LCD screen. There is free downloadable tuning software to fine-tune your transmission with a Windows-based PC.

GearStar Flexplate Bolts
GearStar offers flexplate bolts for a variety of applications, including many Chevy and Ford engines from 1955 and up. These 6-piece sets of hex-head fasteners are designed to secure a flexplate to the crankshaft of an automatic transmission. They're machined from steel with heat-treated and rolled threads, a protective black oxide finish—and are a performance enhancement for apps requiring a higher clamping load, such as those with upgraded flexplates. The bolts are available in multiple lengths.
