Flex-A-Lite Flex-Wave electric fans are the revolutionary way to move more air! These patent-pending electric fans not only produce greater airflow, but are also more efficient, and quieter than traditional S-blade and straight-blade designs. Designed using advance software and tested in a wind tunnel to verify increased airflow and improved efficiency, Flex-Wave fans move up to 20 percent more airflow than Flex-A-Lite Trimline fans, and up to 25 percent more airflow than the comparable electric fans on the market. Advantages include: * The leading edge of the fan blade is no longer a single, solid line. The sine-wave design creates leading edges that cut through the air first. This starts movement in the air around the blade with greater efficiency. * The wave surface of the blades creates channels for the air to move along, producing more airflow and reducing energy losses. * The wave surface forms a winglet at the tip of the blade, further increasing efficiency by reducing air vortices. * The trailing edge of the fan blade also has variations, which reduces wind noise.

Flex-A-Lite belt-driven Flex fans feature an aggressive pitch blade design to move the most air at idle. Plus the Flex blades will flatten out at high engine rpm to reduce drag--improving horsepower and gas mileage. Flex-A-Lite Mechanical Fan Spacers
Flex-A-Lite belt-driven fan spacers feature large bearing surfaces and are machined to a soft radius. They are required for use with Flex-A-Lite fans. Why? They reduce point-loading, which is the most common cause of stress cracking on the fan center star. These machined aluminum spacers are available individually or in kits with the necessary bolts and washers for a complete install.
