Why convert your LML's fuel system from a CP4 to a CP3? Since its introduction, the CP4 has proven to be less reliable and less capable than the CP3 used in previous Duramax platforms—resulting in costly repairs for owners when a CP4 fails. You can improve your LML Duramax's reliability and fueling capability, as well as avoid costly failure with Fleece Performance LML CP3 conversion kits. They provide OEM fit-and-finish features, like Fleece's exclusive molded hoses for the fuel feed and return, high flow CP3 fuel fittings, and their valley feed line to support aftermarket lift pump applications. If you're running an aftermarket positive displacement lift pump on your Duramax, a Fleece Performance fuel primer bulb sealing kit will allow you to eliminate the leak-prone primer bulb from your fuel system. The sealing cap includes a 1/8 in. NPT port to feed a low-pressure fuel gauge or cap it off with the included NPT plug. Note: Fleece kits include two screw options (standard 8-32 and metric M4). Thread in by hand each screw type and use the thread pitch with the best fitment. There is variation amongst the model years, so always test first by hand to verify the thread pitch on your vehicle.

Fleece Performance regulated return systems take their standard fuel distribution blocks to the next level by fully integrating a high-flow pressure regulator. This feature, in combination with high-flow aftermarket electric fuel pumps (without built-in pressure regulation), provides more consistent fuel pressure at the CP3. The kits also have one additional return line port and one additional feed line port. The extra return line port allows you to remove the factory fuel pressure relief valve hard line and fuel injector return galley hard line to provide clearance for high-flow side draft intakes, common on competition engines.
